This blog was set up after losing a wonderful soul to domestic violence. Shannon Lawrence was 25 when her life was taken out of a single act of jealous rage.

Acts such as this happen far too often. The purpose of this page is to spread awareness and attempt to prevent further acts of violence of occurring. Although we know that we can't prevent all acts of DV from happening, if this blog can save one life or even make one person feel like they have the courage to speak up and get help, Shannon's experience will not be in vain. We hope to honor her and spread awareness so that others do not have to go through what she and her family and friends had to endure.
